Legends : Gary Pallister
Gary Andrew Pallister or simply Gary Pallister is a centre back, most noted for his nine-year spell at Manchester United from 1989 until 1998. He was also capped 22 times by England between 1988 and 1996.
Gary Pallister moved to Manchester United on 29 August 1989 for £2.3 million from Middlesbrough.
It was the national record for a defender at the time, as well as being the highest fee between British clubs and the second highest fee to be paid by a British club – second only to Ian Rush's return to Liverpool from Juventus a year earlier.
Pallister made a total of 437 appearance for United winning the Premier League (1992–93, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1996–97), FA Cup (1990, 1994, 1996), Football League Cup (1992), FA Charity Shield (1990, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997), UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1991) and the UEFA Super Cup (1990).
