Bolton Wanderers Interested In Signing Danny Welbeck
It has been revealed that Bolton Wanderers are chasing Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck.
The Daily Mail has reported that Bolton manager Owen Coyle wants Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck to replace Daniel Sturridge next season.
Coyle is keen on making another move for Sturridge but new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas wants a full pre-season with the striker before deciding whether to approve his exit.
And Bolton who have also lost Johan Elmander to Galatasaray and have so far failed in their bid for Birmingham's Cameron Jerome, are ready to turn their attentions to Welbeck, who will open talks over a new contract at Old Trafford once Sir Alex Ferguson's side return from their pre-season spell in America.
Welbeck knows his first-team opportunities are likely to be limited next season due to Ferguson's wealth of striking talent.
